The extensive renovation and modernisation measures at the Georg Kerschensteiner School have been successfully completed and the school has been adapted to modern teaching and learning concepts. It was important to all involved to emphasise and showcase the quality of the existing building.

It was important to everyone involved to emphasize and showcase the quality of the existing building. Now, the current design quality meets the then pioneering quality of the existing building, e.g. through floor-to-ceiling windows and the resulting flowing transitions from the inside to the original façade of the old building from the 1960s.
Students at GKS Müllheim have produced a film of the renovated part of the building. »With the completion of the renovation of building section A, GKS Müllheim now has new, modern classrooms and recreational facilities with a student canteen.«
