Less than a year after the groundbreaking ceremony, the project has now reached another important milestone with the topping-out ceremony. It was a welcome opportunity to look back on what has been achieved so far together with everyone involved in the project. The new building complements the first construction phase, completed in 2019, and will accommodate the educational programmes that are currently still located at a second site. Step by step, this is creating a unified campus in which the existing building and the new extension are also closely connected architecturally. Our colleague Sarah attended the topping-out ceremony and took the opportunity to join the project team on a tour of the shell. There is still plenty to change before the scheduled completion in August 2027, but the direction the project is taking is already clearly visible.
