Two years ago, we helped the Haus der Jugend on Veddel to purchase a run-down tractor, which was restored by young people with expert support. This time, we are helping to bring a breath of fresh air to the subject of work lessons at the Stadtteilschule Wilhelmsburg. Once a week, 8th grade students now have the opportunity to spend a whole morning refurbishing wooden boats under the guidance of an experienced boat builder at the Haus der Jugend to learn the basics and skills of boat building.
Tools, materials and fees are needed to carry out such a project. With the money that would have been spent on Christmas presents for business partners, we support this initiative.
