We are delighted to have been awarded the contract for the refurbishment of the Osterholz-Scharmbeck Vocational Schools, starting with service phase 5. Following the completion and occupation of the new buildings, we will now take on the detailed design for the refurbishment and extension of the existing building. This transformation process is primarily about carefully understanding the existing structures, developing them further and aligning them with the school’s future requirements. In the next steps, we will review and validate the existing planning documents, clarify interfaces and develop robust solutions for the subsequent implementation. The aim is to ensure that the school remains fully operational throughout every phase of construction, while creating spaces that will support the everyday lives of students, teachers and staff in the long term. We are looking forward to this task and to helping shape a place that can continue to evolve step by step.
Also in the planning stage: Bergheim Vocational College Topping-out ceremony at Rheine Vocational CollegeBuilding within the existing fabric is an important contribution to a sustainable building culture for us. Developing existing structures further rather than replacing them requires care, experience and precise organisation. At the Osterholz-Scharmbeck Vocational Schools, we can draw on our experience from comparable vocational school projects in Bergedorf and Korbach. We look forward to working together with everyone involved to further develop a place that opens up opportunities for many young people.
