Comfortable and smart
From a purely architectural point of view, Langenhorn in Hamburg-Nord is a prime district of northern German architecture. Typical regional brick buildings meet modern residential complexes here, giving the district a pleasant mixture of rural idyll and urban flair. And another fact: Langenhorn was home to one of the most important architectural icons of interwar brick expressionism: Fritz Höger lived and worked in his private residence on Langenhorner Chaussee at the beginning of the 20th century.
