In December 2019, we were able to hand over one of our largest renovation and conversion projects, the Bergedorf Vocational Schools, to the client. To give all team members an impression of the project, we visited the school together.
The 18,000 m² vocational school, which was converted during ongoing operations, now combines two vocational schools under one roof. What today looks light, open and glassy was previously quite dark and cramped. In order to meet modern, educational requirements, the building had to be almost completely gutted on the inside so that sustainable and economical use is possible.
On site, many exciting anecdotes and planning details were shared with the team by the project and construction management.
