Max has been part of abj for 15 years. As an architect and managing director, and above all as someone who keeps an eye on the bigger picture and makes things happen. Max isn’t the sort to put himself in the spotlight. He’s more the type to listen, sort things out and keep track of everything. Instead of rushing to make decisions, he leaves room for reflection, different perspectives and new developments. When asked about his secret superpower, he says: »I’m quite good at handling silence. And I trust that more often than not, more emerges from it than from a quick answer.« This not only describes him well, but also how ideas are allowed to emerge at abj. Through dialogue, through listening, and in the moments in between. And this attitude is also evident in the shared team rituals he particularly looks forward to: »Everything that regularly reminds us why we’re doing this together.« Because it is often precisely there that what underpins our collaboration emerges: community, purpose, and the opportunity for personal growth.
