We welcomed Lea and Bennet to this year's Girls & Boys Day. The two of them spent the day in our office and were given a special task: design your dream school in Archicad.
Accompanied and supported by our architects Marina and Alberto, the two first developed their own ideas and initial sketches. After a brief introduction to Archicad, the sketches were turned into digital designs. Rooms were placed, shapes were tried out, materials were selected - and in the end, each of them created a very personal 3D model of a school, just as Lea and Bennet would like it to be.
During a shared lunch break with pizza, there was also time to talk about school, the future and working in an architecture firm. At the end, they both proudly took their finished designs home on DIN A3 - as a memento of a day full of ideas and new perspectives.
They were both a little shy at first, but as soon as they were allowed to get started in Archicad, they were fully involved. It was great to see how much curiosity and commitment they showed in realising their ideas. At the end, they proudly presented what they had created in such a short time.
