Our lecture »Growth spaces for people«, which we were able to give to a larger audience for the first time in November, is about the influence that architecture and spaces have on our personal development.
Especially when planning educational buildings, where students and teachers spend a large part of their lives, we take a very detailed look at the needs of users and changing learning concepts in order to create the best possible space for individual and collaborative development.
While previous generations of pupils were largely taught in so-called »corridor schools« with closed rooms, today we plan schools with open, integrative spaces to promote cooperation. Multifunctional, vibrant spaces, green outdoor classrooms as well as places of retreat meet the needs for security, connection, exploration and exchange.
