A day full of insights and new perspectives - that's what our team trip to Zeven and Bremervörde was all about! Through exciting insights into three of our planned buildings and personal discussions with the users, we found out what it feels like to work and learn in these spaces.
First up was a visit to the fire station in Zeven, where we got an interesting and vivid impression of the work processes of the life-savers based there. The approximately 80 volunteer firefighters and the eager members of the children's and youth fire department are actually called out around 300 times a year.
Afterwards, we took a short detour in beautiful sunshine to our construction site for the interim container facility on the grounds of BBS Zeven, where the interior work is progressing rapidly.
During our subsequent visit to the Zeven elementary school, which was completed in 2018, we received exciting and informative experiences and feedback from the school management and teaching staff. It was particularly nice for us to see how the colorful adventure forest in the foyer is used by the pupils to play, exchange ideas and relax.
The final highlight was a visit to the Birkenweg school center in Bremervörde. Here, too, we learned a lot about the special challenges faced by the staff and teachers on site, as well as the premises themselves.
One of the many lessons learned on the day: spaces are not always used as originally planned. Flexibility for the special requirements and constantly changing needs of users on site is important and necessary.
